I'm a bit of a pop-culture and media junkie. (I think when people say that, they're basically saying they like to lay around and watch TV and movies, read celebrity gossip web sites, and watch reality shows, at least it's true in my case.) I did recently opt to give up cable TV to support my university studies, so lately Netflix and the occasional (like once every 2-3 months) trip to the theater are my main source of video entertainment. My taste in movies ranges from the standard "spinach cinema" fare (in small doses, though) to the worship of the worst B-rated scifi movies ever made. If pressed, I'd have to say my favorites (lately) are: The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Office Space, Wings of Desire, Mulholland Drive, Paris Texas, Zoolander, Star Wars episodes 3, 4, & 5, Total Recall, Predator, Blue Velvet
